About This Event
Tickets: $75, limited to 36 participants
Please note: This workshop will be filmed for an episode of "Son of a Butcher" on PBS. Attendees are required to sign a release form before entry to the workshop (non-negotiable). All proceeds will go to support Columbia Kitchen.
Backyard Green Films presents a butchering workshop, filmed as a live studio audience episode for Season 2 of PBS's Son of a Butcher.
Join the host of Son of a Butcher, AJ O'Neil, as he and his father, Gale, break down a whole lamb carcass (cleaned, no innards) from start to finish. You'll get a butcher's view of lamb, from the first cuts to making sausage.
Then enjoy a tasting from Hudson's own Shaina Loew-Banayan, chef and owner of Cafe Mutton, who will share a lamb sausage recipe with the audience. Note: All participants will go home with a goodie bag, including Son of a Butcher apron and beef sticks, plus large prizes and Spark of Hudson totes for a few lucky attendees.
Ticket Proceeds Support Columbia Kitchen
The costs of this workshop are generously covered by RE Synergy Foundation, so all ticket proceeds go to support Columbia Kitchen.
