Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Location: The Spark of Hudson: 502 Union Street, Hudson, NY 12534

What do “Land Justice” and “Land Back” actually mean? This 60-minute educational and interactive session explores the history, legal landscape, and practical pathways of the Land Back movement.

Grounded in the specific history of the Hudson Valley as the ancestral homelands of the Haudenosaunee and Muhheaconneok (Mohican) peoples, this presentation offers essential context for understanding how Indigenous land loss occurred, what land return looks like in practice today, and how residents of the Hudson Valley can engage in meaningful and informed ways.

The session will include short presentations, with time built in for questions and community discussion throughout. All are welcome, and no prior knowledge is required.

Rachel Hill does not represent any tribal governments.
