About This Event
Join The Trail Conservancy and FreshAIR Lab for a unique evening on the Ann & Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail where art, nature, and photography come together.
During this interactive workshop, you'll use the camera already in your pocket—your smartphone—to slow down, notice the world around you, and explore the Trail through a new perspective. Guided by FreshAIR Lab founder Cecelia Parker Schoening, participants will engage with TEMPO on the Trail public art installations while discovering simple photography techniques, mindful observation, and creative reflection.
Eyedropper invites you to focus on the little things. Instead of photographing sweeping landscapes, you'll use your smartphone to capture the colors, textures, and small details that often go unnoticed—from flowers and sculptures to leaves, reflections, and wildlife. The workshop concludes with optional journaling and reflection, encouraging participants to connect their images to memory, place, and personal experience.
No photography experience is necessary—just bring your smartphone, curiosity, and comfortable walking shoes!
