Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). DVAM is a national campaign established in 1989 to raise awareness, uplift survivor voices, and advocate for change. This October, we join advocates nationwide in standing with survivors and working toward ending domestic violence. At The Retreat, we stand united with survivors of domestic violence, working to provide safety, shelter, and support while breaking the cycle of family violence.
