Registration ends Wednesday, 03/04/2026 4:30pm EST

About This Event

with Dr. Alon Seifan

Wednesday, March 4th, 2026
6:30pm-8:30pm

Virtual on Zoom or In-Person at ICP
2 NYS CE Credits

In this presentation, we review emerging data and rationale behind the HB-01 Neuroenergetic protocol for PTSD under investigation at The Neuro Well, which targets brain-energy signaling via astrocyte/neuro-metabolic dysregulation. We examine evidence linking PTSD to mitochondrial dysfunction, and discuss how addressing adaptive hypometabolism — via widely available repurposed medications — offers a breakthrough avenue for patients with PTSD, including treatment resistant cases.  Dr. Seifan will share results from observational studies showing resolution of persistent cognitive symptoms (brain-fog) and emotional blunting. Attendees will gain a novel, neurobiology-informed framework for conceptualizing PTSD beyond fear circuitry, learn how to identify the candidates most likely to respond to neuroenergetic interventions, and learn how this approach may complement their existing evidence-based psychotherapy.
