Big little Chef Showcase:
Celebrating Cooking with Kids in Rio Arriba County and Beyond!
Cooking with Kids, in partnership with Española Valley High School Culinary Arts Program, invites you to the Big little Chef Showcase — a joyful Saturday afternoon celebration of big dreams and little chefs in Rio Arriba County. This event will highlight the creativity of young culinary artists, the generosity of local chefs and community members, and the power of coming together around healthy, local food.
Guests will enjoy elevated small bites handcrafted by local CWK Superchef Ray Naranjo alongside inspired mocktails and special treats created by high school culinary students and elementary students from our Cooking with Kids classrooms. Together, they’ll showcase how hands-on food education builds skills, confidence, and connection across generations.
The Showcase honors our community volunteers and local heroes whose dedication keeps school food and nutrition education strong in Rio Arriba County — celebrating the educators, families, chefs, and community champions who bring joyful hands-on learning to life every day.
