On November 15, I'll be running the Richmond Marathon—6 days after my 60th birthday! I was tempted to skip fundraising for marathon #12 (multiple of 6), but then I remembered my "why": Timmy and the amazing work of the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI).

Timmy's Team is aiming to raise $6,000 for a very special project: an outdoor classroom at the DDI Ronkonkoma campus, a place Timmy attended 20 years ago. This new space will provide pre-school students, many newly diagnosed with autism, the opportunity to experience sensory activities, grow a garden, and have new adventures.
