Spring Break Day Camp
The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is pleased to offer single-day themed camps for the Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences, Fall Break, Indigenous Peoples Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Professional Development Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Spring Break, Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences, and Vernal Holiday school holidays.
HOURS AND LOCATION
All camps run from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Please drop off your camper no earlier than 7:30 AM and pick up by 5:30 PM. Late fees apply for campers who have not been picked up by 5:30pm. Children should bring two snacks, a lunch, and a refillable water bottle each day of camp.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
Museum Camp staff take camper safety very seriously. Here are some things parents should know about our safety and security procedures.
- If your child has an allergy or medical issue, please get in touch with the program coordinator, Linda Anderson at landerson@nuclearmuseum.org before enrolling in day camp.
- Instructors are trained to handle minor incidents and injuries. In the event of a major medical issue, the camp staff will contact parents or guardians.
- Parents or guardians must sign their child in and out of camp daily. A valid ID will be required at pickup. We will not release a child to any person not listed on the child's pickup list.
- Camp staff reserves the right to contact the guardians of or dismiss any child whose behavior becomes a safety risk to themselves, other campers, or camp staff.
- The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History reserves the right to open or close programs based on demand.
COST

CANCELLATION POLICY
- If a single-day camp cancellation is received more than 5 days before the camp, the registration fee paid will be refunded minus a $15.00 processing fee per camp registration.
- If a single-day camp cancellation is received 1-5 days before the camp, the registration fee paid will be refunded minus a 30% cancellation fee per camp.
- Single-day camp registrations canceled less than 24 hours before the start of a camp will not be refunded. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History reserves the right to open or close a section of camp based on demand. Should a camp be canceled, registration fees will be refunded in full.
A $30 fee will apply for campers who have not been picked up by 5:30 PM and must be paid at the time of pickup. If late pickup occurs repeatedly, the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History reserves the right to cancel current or deny future camp registrations. Refunds may be issued in accordance with the camp cancellation policy.
