When school is out, kids in Pre-k through 6th grade can keep learning and have fun too! Campers explore the Tenafly Nature Center woods and trails, make crafts, share stories and play games while learning about the environment. School Break day camps are offered in every season and the activities vary by the season. We are also accepting Jr. CIT’s in 7th & 8th grade to assist our youngest campers!

Pre-K must be a minimum of 4 year old. All children must be bathroom independent. For the safety of our staff and campers, TNC staff do not go into the bathroom with campers.

1st-6th grade

Use the grade your child is entering next September to determine group.
*In the event that enrollment is low camp age groups may be merged
Registration CLOSES for new and returning campers from prior year 14 days BEFORE, and for returning campers from current year 10 days BEFORE the first day of the session/week to allow time to process medical forms and prepare materials
A current TNC for Two Membership or higher is required for all camp participants and you and your child must be listed under a current membership.
Families with multiple campers need one qualifying membership (Family Membership or higher required for more than one child). All parents and children must be listed under a current membership.
Membership is annual and only needs to be purchased once per year.

To Be Added to a Wait List Please note that we will not be opening additional camp spaces. The only way to be moved off the waitlist is if a cancellation occurs. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you, however, we cannot predict when this may happen or guarantee that it will occur. When joining the waitlist, please include the following information:
