Bird Banding with TRGT
Come see TRGT’s Bird Banding Lab in action! Participants will meet at the Suck Creek Boat Ramp to ride down the gorge in a pontoon boat to TRGT's Bird Observatory where the research team will be capturing and banding wild birds for scientific research.

Ages: 10 and up
Meeting Location: Suck Creek Boat Ramp (across the street from 1901 Suck Creek Rd. Chattanooga, TN). Copy and paste these coordinates into your phone mapping app or look it up online beforehand and it will take you there: 35.109221, -85.363919
Participants will meet TRGT staff to ride our boat to the bird lab at the Suck Creek Boat Ramp.

Please bring your own water, wear weather appropriate clothing (including warm clothes for the boat ride), and close toe shoes as you will be in the woods.
