The Outside Foundation is thrilled to participate in the global day of giving, #GivingTuesday, happening on December 3rd! After Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, it’s the perfect time to give back and make a lasting impact.

This year, we’re asking for your support to empower local youth through our “Kids in Kayaks” program and restore the beauty of our waterways with the Oyster Restoration program.

• $100 funds 4 seventh-grade students in “Kids in Kayaks,” inspiring a lifelong connection to the outdoors.
• $40 supports 1 oyster shell pickup for recycling and restoration, helping preserve our delicate coastal ecosystems.

What We Do

Celebrating 10 years in our community, The Outside Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2014 and strives for its mission through programs and advocacy. The Outside Foundation organizes and provides scholarships for the Kids in Kayaks program, which aims to get every 7th grader in Beaufort County out kayaking. In addition, The Outside Foundation coordinates custom outdoor and give-back programming with local schools and clubs.
