On March 31st, 2024, our community suffered a heartbreaking loss with the passing of Officer Adam Buckner. Buckner was a dedicated officer who  joined the TPD Police Force in 2021, and was known for his commitment to excellence & keeping us safe. 

Buckner was answering a call a little before 10 p.m. when tragedy struck. He had a green light while headed north on Campbell using his emergency lights and siren when he collided with someone who failed to yield while making a turn on sixth. Despite the efforts of community members and bystanders who tried to perform CPR until medical vehicles arrived, Buckner later passed at Banner Medical Hospital.

Buckner leaves behind his loving family, who are now faced with the immense challenge of moving forward without him. In this difficult time, we want to show our support and care for Adam's family by easing the financial burden they are facing.
