A 24-week formation experience for men who want to lead for Christ with greater clarity, character, and competence.

Leadership is more than what happens in public. What a leader builds below the waterline - his walk with Christ, character, self-awareness, calling, and habits - will shape everything he does above it.

Transformational Leadership helps men establish the foundation for a lifetime of ministry and leadership. Over 24 weeks, participants work through Scripture, guided reflection, practical exercises, and honest conversation with other men. The goal is not simply to learn about leadership, but to become the kind of servant leader God can use wherever He calls.

The 24-week journey

• Clarify your calling: Reflect on your story and strengths, identify your values, clarify your purpose and vision, and align your roles and goals with God's direction.
• Lead yourself well: Explore spiritual vitality, character, self-awareness, emotional and relational health, self-leadership, and servant leadership.
• Practice biblical leadership: Walk through Nehemiah and draw out practical lessons about vision, prayer, planning, teams, conflict, opposition, temptation, perseverance, and building to last.

How the course works

• 24 weekly sessions over six months, October through April
• 90 minutes per session: approximately 30 minutes in a small group and 60 minutes in a large-group discussion
• A pre-course gathering to introduce the material and begin building relationships
• Reading, reflection, and practical assignments between sessions
• Occasional social, service, and other shared experiences

Who it is for

Transformational Leadership is designed for men who are currently leading - or preparing to lead - in the church, workplace, home, or community. Participants do not need a formal title, but they should be ready to reflect honestly, participate consistently, complete assignments, and grow alongside other men.

What does it cost

The fee for the 24-week course is $250 and includes the course handbook and three additional texts used throughout the course. The Clifton StrengthsFinder is an additional fee of $20.
