TBRI TRAINING

Join our staff, house parents, mentors, and volunteers in this 2-day training that equips you to minister to at-risk teens from a Christ-centered perspective. This is hosted by DIRECTION61:3 in McKinney, Texas on April 10 and 11, 2026.

Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a trauma-informed, evidence-based, 3-pillar framework (Empowering, Connecting, Correcting) designed to help children from "hard places". This training allows caretakers and personnel to understand better ways to interact with teens who have experienced trauma.

TBRI Educator & Global Consultant, Orphanos

Melinda serves with Orphanos, a ministry providing care for orphans. She provides training in TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) to Orphanos’ global partners and to U.S. ministries dedicated to serving fatherless kids.
