125th Reenactment of the Unexpected Inauguration in Buffalo

Please join us for a live reenactment of Theodore Roosevelt taking the Presidential Oath of Office in the library of the historic Ansley Wilcox House, now known as the TR Site. The Oath will be administered at about 4:30pm on Monday, September 14. World-renowned TR repriser, Joe Wiegand, will arrive via Amtrak at about 3:45pm and will make his way to the TR Site just as Roosevelt himself did 125 years ago (timing is dependent on Amtrak arrival times). The event will be livestreamed on social media platforms, but for those who wish to join in person, space is limited and tickets will be sold to benefit the TR Site's civic education programming. Your ticket purchase will also grant you access to the Exemplary Citizenship Reception that will take place the following evening at 6:00pm at the TR Site (Double-Decker bus tour tickets must be purchased separately).
