Wild Side 2025

Registration has ended

About This Event

The 16th annual Wild Side in support of the South Carolina Environmental Law Project will be held in historic Georgetown, South Carolina on Saturday, October 4. Under the majestic oaks of Kaminski House, guests will enjoy a fantastic farm-to-table meal with cocktails, music and waterfront views from the sprawling lawn.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Pamela Martin, Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Coastal Carolina University. She is the Executive Director of the RISE Center at Coastal Carolina, a UN Centre on Education for Sustainable Development and will share some insights on the emerging Earth Jurisprudence.  What can we learn from the mosaic of earth-centered law striving for a better harmony with nature?  Can our presenting sponsor's mission to restore the Earth and inspire ecological stewardship help mainstream a new legal paradigm? What would South Carolina look like if the Pee-Dee or Waccamaw River had a legal guardian?

Join us for life-sustaining conversations and an unforgettable experience!
