About This Event
Join us for Native Impact Festival New York City | Indigenous Fashion and Design Day on Saturday, November 14th at the Queens Council on the Arts (5-11 47th Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101). Programming includes a Marketspace from 3:00-5:00pm followed by Native Impact Night and Musical Performance from 5:00-7:00pm. All are welcome, registration is required, but free, and donations are greatly appreciated!
Presented in partnership with Turtle Island Community Capital, Climate Futures Studio, Relative Arts NYC, Forest Guardians Accelerator / UNDP, and Ofrenda Fest, the festival creates space for Indigenous artists, designers, makers, orgnaizers, and businesses to showcase their work, connect with the community, and celebrate Indigenous innovation and impact.
The Marketspace will celebrate Indigenous creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship. Featuring Indigenous vendors, artists, designers, and makers, it will showcase a diverse range of products, including fashion, jewelry, accessories, artwork, and original design. The Marketspace will highlight the talent and innovation of Indigenous creatives while fostering meaningful connections between vendors, attendees, and the broader community.
Native Impact Nights center and uplift Indigenous and Native communities while welcoming supporters interested in engaging with local businesses, organizations, and partners that make our communities stronger. The program creates space for connection, cultural celebration, and collective inspiration by bringing Indigenous leadership, networks, and regional communities together to build long lasting relationships rooted in economic self-determination.
This gathering is part of TICC's signature convening series, which has brought together more than 120 Native entrepreneurs, creatives, organizers, and partners across the region. They are designed to center Indigenous leadership, connect people across sectors through culture and food, and build the relationships that make economic self-determination possible over time.
