Presented by Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council

Advocacy Leadership Institute Info Session

About This Event

Learn how you can turn passion for the arts into powerful advocacy.

The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council invites leaders of arts and culture nonprofits across the region to apply for the Advocacy Leadership Institute (ALI).

In this virtual info session, you'll learn how this inaugural cohort will help build a growing network of advocacy champions who understand how policy decisions are shaped, how public funding flows, and how to stay meaningfully engaged in civic processes over time.

Topics to review include:

  • ALI curriculum, built around connection and real-world learning
  • Who should apply
  • What you'll gain
  • Tuition costs and application dates

Licensed from CreativeOhio and launching in the Greater Pittsburgh region for the first time, ALI prepares leaders across Southwestern Pennsylvania’s arts and cultural community to advocate with clarity, credibility, and confidence, at both the local and state levels.

*Attending this info session is optional and not a prerequisite before applying.
