About This Event
Umoja ASTEP at Bakersfield College will celebrate its 10-year anniversary and honor a former administrator who made it all possible, a special donor, a valued mentor, an outstanding Umoja BC student who has graduated, and a promising current Umoja BC student.
All proceeds will go towards the Umoja ASTEP scholarship fund. Currently, we award $400 annually to a deserving student. We aim to increase that amount as well as increase the number of scholarships we are able to award.
