LEVELED MIXED DOUBLES (3.0, 3.5, 4.0) with a maximum number of 72 players on 6 courts.
(Bad Weather: Tournament will be held at the YMCA in LaPorte. 901 Michigan Ave, LaPorte, IN. All players will be notified via email or phone call by 6:00am on May 18th, 2024)

Join us and our awesome pickleball courts in LaPorte, Indiana! There are restrooms, plenty of parking, seating for spectators, and more! Food will be available for purchase. Medals will be distrubted to winners Raffles items will be available. And best of all, your entry fee of $25 per player is a donation that helps our local community through United Way. For example, funds raised help our youth after school programming, the backpack food program, and so much more! Please join us and have fun while supporting our community!
RELEASE, PERMISSION, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (The Fine Print!)
Waiver:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in any way in using the pickleball courts at Kesling Park, I, for myself, my heirs or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue The LaPorte County Parks Department, The City of LaPorte, The United Way of LaPorte County, The YMCA, or any sponsors, its/their Directors, officers, employees and agents from liability from any and all claims resulting in personal injuries, accidents or illnesses (including death) and property loss arising from, but not limited to, participation in this pickleball event or court usage.
Assumption of Risk:
Participation in this event, tournament or court usage in anyway carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the precautions that are taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary, but include 1) minor injuries such as bruises, sprains and dehydration, 2) major injuries such as eye injuries, joint or back injuries, heat stroke, heart attacks, and concussions, and 3) catastrophic injuries such as paralysis and death, and 4) such as communicable diseases including COVID-19. I have read the previous paragraphs and I know, understand and appreciate these and other risks that are inherent in playing pickleball. I assert that my participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such risks.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless:
I also agree to indemnify and hold The LaPorte County Parks Department, The City of LaPorte, United Way of LaPorte County, The YMCA, and all sponsors, its Directors and Officers, harmless from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement with this pickleball event.
Use Permission:
I also give United Way of LaPorte County and its agents and designee’s permission to use or distribute, without limitation or obligation, my image, name, voice, and words for any purpose connected with this event, including promotional, marketing, training, informational, and archival uses.
