Fall 2026 Schedule:
Tuesdays, 6-7:30 pm at Lebanon High School
Thursdays, 10:30 am - 12 pm at Unitarian Universalist

Kickoff Party: September 8 (location TBD)
First Rehearsals: Tuesday, September 15 and Thursday, September 17
Retreat: October 17 (location TBD)
Rehearseal November 17/19; no rehearsals Thanksgiving week
Concert with Sol y Canto: Tuesday, November 10
at Lebanon Opera House
Additional Concert: Saturday, December 12
The Community Chorus at Upper Valley Music Center brings together singers from all walks of life to share in the joy of choral singing. No audition is required, and singers of all experience levels are encouraged to join. The Chorus offers many opportunities to grow in vocal technique, musicality, personal expression, and meaningful friendships—all within a fun choral community.
Chorus members can choose between two weekly rehearsal options—Tuesday evenings in Lebanon or Thursday mornings in Norwich. The two groups come together for retreats, community performances, and concerts.
All Chorus members have access to professional practice tracks to make part-learning more accessible and efficient.
The chorus rehearses and performs between September-May each year. Singers who wish to join mid-year are invited to schedule a visit.
Fall semester includes a special opportunity to work with guest artists Sol y Canto, a Latin American band who will be visiting the Upper Valley for a residency with UVMC choral ensembles. The band will visit rehearsal on Thursday, October 1 to teach music, and return for a community concert on Tuesday, November 10.
