About This Event
Often referred to as a hidden gem by visitors, the Rivoli Bluff Farm and Restoration Site is our largest growing site for food distribution (and also has a very interesting history). The site includes vegetable growing plots, beehives, two gravel bed tree nurseries, community gardens, fruit trees, an Indigenous Medicine Garden, and a Children’s Garden.
We hope to see you on July 13 for a fun, open house-style event including:
- Fresh produce for sale from our Mobile Market, SNAP/EBT accepted
- Tours
- Food for sale from Karibu Grocery and Deli
- DJ Kool Akiem
- Children's Garden activities, including free face painting provided by A Touch of Magic Entertainment
- Community organization information tables, including:
- Bell Museum
- Capitol Region Watershed District
- Dayton's Bluff Community Council
- East Side Freedom Library
- East Side Table
- Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan Area Long Term Ecological Research Program
- Minnesota Tool Library
- MnSEED
- Monarch Joint Venture
- Railroad Island Neighborhood Group (RING)
- Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District
- Urban Boatbuilders
- Wakan Tipi Awanyankapi
- Beautiful views of our gardens and downtown St. Paul
Click here to watch a short Instagram reel from last year's Rivoli Bluff Bash.
Thank you so much to East Side Funders Group for sponsoring this event!
Also be sure to check out the Co-op Farm Tour that's happening on July 13, 10am–4pm. Sixteen farms (including Urban Roots!) will be open to the public for a free day of fun and learning on the farm.
