JOIN US for our 4th Annual Sports Ministry Conference!
Whether you're a coach, an athlete, a volunteer at Sports Camp, a business leader, or someone looking to grow in your walk with God—this opportunity is for you! Our goal with this event is to equip the people of God to do the work of God, not just in sports but in every area of life.
This conference starts at 8:00 am with registration and we'll have workshops and lectures from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm.
From 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm there will be an optional hands-on demonstration of the "Competing Biblically" approach, specifically for coaches looking to implement this philosophy in their practices and workouts.
This year our conference will be moderated by Vertical Sports' Director of Coach Development and Athletics, Tim Kuykendall.
Joining Tim will be Ron Brown, Co-Founder of Kingdom Sports; Gordon Thiessen, Co-Founder of Founder of Kingdom Sports and Founder of Cross Training Publishing; and Cole Espensheid, also of Kingdom Sports.
Ron Brown will be speaking on "Cross - The Gospel in Sport."
Gordon Thiessen will speak on "Capable - How to Apply the Word to Sport."
Ron will return to the stage to teach "Character - How to Develop a Culture of Character within your Team and Program."
At 1:00, Cole, Ron, and Gordon will teach "Compete", an optional hands-on demonstration of the “Competing Biblically” approach, specifically for coaches looking to implement this philosophy in their practices and workouts.
We will meet in the Hope Chapel auditorium. Come at 8:00am for registration. This year, you can get a ticket that includes a delicious lunch for $20 or you can opt for a free ticket without lunch. Even if you want a no-lunch ticket, you still need to register to reserve your spot. We hope you'll join us!
