We invite you to join us for a special virtual cooking class led by Nakia Laubscher, Founder and Executive Chef at chefate and Charis Sederberg, a certified nutrition therapy practitioner and former oncology nurse. This program is designed to support those facing cancer treatment and their families who are looking to incorporate more easy, nutritious meals into their diet. This engaging session will focus on preparing delicious and healthy recipes that promote well-being and nourishment during challenging times.

As part of your registration fee, you'll receive a gift card to a grocery store of your choice to help cover the cost of ingredients, making it even easier to participate! For registering and participating you will also receive several nutritional resources to help you continue your health journey.

Charis' Bio

Charis is a former oncology nurse and now a certified nutrition therapy practitioner.   Charis works to educate and inform individuals about how to use holistic health principles to support their health goals. She supports her clients to achieve optimal health by helping them establish priorities for healing through her Harness Health Foundations model.   All health conditions are supported through healing and supporting these foundations so this is relevant information for anyone. 

Chef Nakias' Bio

Believes good food shared with great people is the essence of living a joyful life. Nakia graduated from Johnson and Wales University Denver with a degree in Food Service Management and Baking and Pastry Arts. Her entire career has been spent in the food industry - from a small town cafe, to hotel & casino banquets, to museum foodservice, to dessert research and development. “Food connects us to our land, to our well-being, and to each other. It can bring us together and inspire us to do better. I want everybody to feel confident and enjoy cooking and sharing meals as much as I do.”
