About Nana Marina Cruz

Nana Marina is an Ajq'iij, a Spiritual Guide of the Maya Tz'utujil lineage in Guatemala. She is a carrier of ancient Mayan wisdom, serving as a leader of multiple ceremonial medicines and modalities, specializing in the healing magic of Cacao, Pataxte, and Tobacco through traditional Mayan fire, cacao, and temazcal ceremonies.

She’s also a teacher of native Mayan languages, the Mayan Calendar, and the Sacred Mayan Cosmovision. Nana recently completed her Masters in Sociolinguistics with a focus on Mayan languages and cacao.

She is a founding member of the Great Council of Indigenous Authorities in Guatemala, and is the legal representative for the Association of Walkers for Peace Jun Imox, founded by her beloved father, Tata Pedro Cruz.

Nana Marina’s mission is to ensure the healing and restoration of humanity, and as such, travels the world to serve and share these beautiful gifts of purification rituals with the intent of promoting harmony across the globe.

She continues to keep the fire of her father’s legacy alive, by doing everything with love. “Pase lo que pase, siempre con amor.”
