Growing minds need fuel, but right now, 90% of Kenyan students come to school hungry and most eat only one meal a day. 

• The fourth year of drought unfolds in Kenya with farmers unable to grow substantive crops during the last five seasons. With little food for livestock, milk production dries up for children and their families.
• There is a global food shortage and the Pandemic created a such an economic hit that food necessities have doubled in price since November 2021.  
• But it's not just food or milk. Critical necessities –clothing, sanitary supplies, housing, bedding, even guidance continue to top the needs of our 360+ students. And the costs are just not in the budget of any of their families.
