Jr. Naturalists Summer Camp

About This Event

The Wildlife Center of the North Coast’s Jr. Naturalists Summer Day Camp offers an immersive outdoor experience for youth ages 6–14. Campers explore local wetlands and coastal ecosystems, learn about wildlife rehabilitation and conservation, and observe our ambassador birds up close. Through nature hikes, hands-on science activities, creative projects, and guided exploration, participants build knowledge, confidence, and a deeper connection to the natural world.

We believe access to nature-based education should not be limited by cost. WCNC actively works to fund scholarships so that financial barriers do not prevent participation.

Our goal is not simply to entertain children for a week, it is to cultivate informed, thoughtful young people who understand their role in protecting wildlife and ecosystems.
