About This Event

Please join us for the Domestic Violence Crisis Center's 23rd Annual Voices of Courage Spring Luncheon!

DVCC is honored to welcome Ashley Bendiksen as this year’s Voices of Courage keynote speaker. A nationally recognized expert on trauma and resilience, Ashley is an award-winning activist and nonprofit founder dedicated to violence prevention and survivor empowerment. But before becoming a leader in this field, she was a survivor herself.

Trapped in a cycle of dating violence from the age of 14, Ashley endured years of abuse that left her homeless, penniless, and forced to drop out of college. After a brutal attack, she made the life-changing decision to reclaim her future—returning to school, graduating as Valedictorian, and turning her pain into purpose. Today, she shares her powerful story to inspire change, break cycles of abuse, and help others find their voice.
