About This Event

Please join us for the Domestic Violence Crisis Center's 22nd Annual Voices of Courage Spring Luncheon

We are honored to present our keynote speaker, Michelle Horton, author and domestic violence advocate

About Michelle Horton

Michelle Horton is a compelling advocate and author of Dear Sister, who will share her profound story at the Voices of Courage Spring Luncheon. When her sister Nikki was incarcerated for killing her abuser, Michelle was propelled into a relentless fight for justice. Taking on the care of Nikki's children, she battled a challenging and often dysfunctional criminal justice system. Living in New York's Hudson Valley, Michelle dedicates her life to raising awareness about domestic violence and aiding survivors through the Nicole Addimando Community Defense Committee. Her story is a testament to resilience, the power of advocacy, and the critical need to stand united against injustice. Join us to be inspired by her courage and contribute to the fight against domestic violence.
