Here is the 2023-2024 calendar of upcoming events that will address food insecurity, isolated seniors, vulnerable families and other critical needs.
DO GOOD. FEEL GOOD.
Mitzvah Day: November 19, 2023 from 12:30-3:00pm
Do a Mitzvah today! Come to Federation offices and help on-site with volunteer projects to support vulnerable members of our community. Projects range from snack packs for students with weekend food insecurity to cold weather bundles for families in need. (This is not a Pop Up event)
Fee: $72 Family; $54 Couple; $36 Individual
Period Poverty: January 2024
Period Poverty is the inability to access or afford menstrual hygiene products. Donate product to change the cycle.
Product Donations
Purim Bags: February 2024 - REGISTRATION COMING SOON
Assemble Purim Bags for isolated seniors and bring joy this holiday. (This will be a pop-up event)
March Mega Food Drive: March 2024
Help Federation collect and distribute 25,000 pounds of non-perishable food for those in need in our area. Food is distributed to community partners in Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson Counties.
Product Donations
Supplies for Success: May 2024 - REGISTRATION COMING SOON
Assemble 3,000 backpacks for students in need. Federation provides all the items needed to participate. (This will be a pop-up event.)
