Whether you’re new to the islands, looking for a meaningful way to get involved, or a longtime volunteer ready to discover something new, the Volunteer Expo makes it easy to explore the many ways you can connect, serve, and make a difference in our community.
Who Should Attend?
Everyone is welcome! This FREE event is designed for both new and seasoned volunteers who want to learn more about the organizations serving Sanibel and Captiva and discover opportunities to get involved.
What to Expect
Meet representatives from 50+ local nonprofits, community groups, churches, and service clubs as you explore their missions, programs, and current volunteer opportunities.
Walk through the Expo at your own pace, ask questions, make connections, and find organizations and causes that are meaningful to you. Whether you have a few hours to give or are looking for a deeper commitment, there are opportunities for everyone.
Speaking Program
At 4:00 PM, join us for a brief speaking program and prize distribution celebrating the organizations, volunteers, and partnerships that strengthen our island community.
Hear from event organizers and community partners as we recognize the impact of working together and celebrate the shared sense of belonging, connection, and service that makes Sanibel and Captiva special.
Food & Beverage
Enjoy light refreshments while you connect, explore, and engage.
