Internationally acclaimed pianist, composer and storyteller Cristiana Pegoraro honors America250 and Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library’s Year of Love with an intimate and passionate musical journey. From the baroque splendor of Vivaldi to the timeless notes of Yankee Doodle, through Italian opera, classical masterpieces, and beloved American melodies in Pegoraro's own virtuosic transcriptions, this concert tells a story of love between two worlds. Italian lyricism meets the American spirit in a program that celebrates 250 years of American dreams through the heart of an Italian artist.
Program will run 85 minutes with a 15 minute intermission; Q & A to follow performance.
