About the Event
Washington English Center welcomes immigrants and refugees with the vision that all newcomers deserve access to the education and support they need to achieve their goals. Last year, WEC taught nearly 1,800 immigrants from 105 different countries as they learned to read, write, listen to, and speak English with greater fluency and confidence!
This year, we are excited to announce something new: a Community Cabaret at Studio Theatre that will bring together musicians, dancers, and others from the WEC community who want to share their talents with you. Attendees will enjoy tasty snacks, good drinks, and a selection of performances by WEC's students and volunteers.

Logistical Details
- Staff will be in touch in early September to confirm guest and attendee information
- The print deadline for the hardcopy program and signage is Friday, September 11th
- The law prohibits use of Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) to purchase tickets or sponsorships that include tickets; however, you can still support this event with a gift from a DAF
