Join us on a tour of the Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility on April 21st from 1-3 PM! To celebrate Earth Month, we are organizing tours of Utah's waste processing infrastructure. We should all know what happens to our waste! Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility (CVWRF) is a state-of-the-art facility that treats wastewater using a trickling filter/solids contact process for secondary treatment. Every day, millions of gallons of wastewater are collected and piped into the facility. CVWRF treats 50 to 60 million gallons of wastewater daily from these entities and clean water is returned to the Jordan River system.
Attendees need to wear pants and closed toed shoes. It will be outdoor, so dress according to the weather!
