About the Artists
Pressenda Chamber Players, the Washington Conservatory Ensemble in Residence, is a chamber music ensemble of strings, piano, and guest artists named for Giovanni Pressenda (1777–1854)—the maker of the instruments played by Founder, Artistic Director, and cellist Tobias Werner and violinist Aaron Berofsky.

At the Washington Conservatory of Music, our mission goes beyond lessons and performances—we believe music should be an experience that brings people together. Through free and low-cost community events, we open our doors to families, neighbors, and audiences of all ages, creating opportunities to share the joy and inspiration of live music.

Your gift helps us present concerts, workshops, and seasonal celebrations that make music accessible to everyone in our community. From student recitals and ensemble showcases to festivals and open houses, these events nurture creativity, celebrate cultural traditions, and strengthen the connections that only music can create.

By donating today, you ensure that music education and performance remain a vibrant, welcoming part of our community—enriching lives, sparking curiosity, and making music a gift for all.
