Connection and Story: A Writing Workshop for Caregivers

About This Event

Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 7:00pm ET

Facilitator: Vivé Griffith

Please join us for an online writing workshop designed especially for caregivers, "Connection and Story: A Writing Workshop for Caregivers," on Wednesday, February 25, 7pm-8:30pm with facilitator, Vivé Griffith.

The important work of caring for others can be both rewarding and depleting, and caregivers are so often the ones who don’t receive (or even ask for) the support they need. This workshop offers caregivers the opportunity to write in community, finding their own stories, connecting to the stories of others, and reclaiming their voice and strength. Based on the practices of Narrative Medicine, a field that brings together personal story and healthcare, this workshop will give participants the space to reflect, reconnect, and recharge.

Registration is required. Space is limited to 12 attendees. The workshop will be held on Zoom in meeting format, but will NOT be recorded.

About the facilitator:

Vivé Griffith is a writer and workshop facilitator who has been bringing the writing process into community spaces for thirty years. A family caregiver herself, she earned a certificate in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University and is focused on developing opportunities for caregivers to share and honor their stories. You can learn more about Vivé on her website.
