SELAH’s Sunday drop-ins at The Center in Hollywood are seeing record attendance. To provide critical services to a growing number of participants in 2026, we need to raise $40,000 by the end of 2025. Twice a month at this Hollywood site, SELAH fills a crucial service gap in one of L.A.’s most impacted communities by providing critical support to unhoused neighbors when other services are unavailable.

SELAH and our partners fill the cracks in our social safety net.

Since 2023, SELAH has partnered with The Center to apply the strength of hundreds of Angelenos directly to ending homelessness. We work with The Hollywood Food Coalition, Food On Foot, and Hang Out Do Good as part of a mutually-reinforcing grassroots network. Our volunteers not only provide food, clothing, documents, connections to case management, and a place to be welcome and safe for our most vulnerable neighbors, they also demonstrate a community-led solution to homelessness based on the coordination and collaboration that our formal systems lack.

SELAH and its partners are showing all of L.A. that, when a community works together, every neighbor can thrive.
