When systems fail, community remains.
Los Angeles is facing growing challenges. More neighbors are experiencing homelessness, while public systems responsible for housing, healthcare, and supportive services are increasingly stretched.
In moments like this, the most reliable resource is one another.
Join us Thursday, September 17, 6:30-8pm for an inspiring evening of great food, local art, community connection, and a special volunteer honoree presentation to see how we're building lasting, community-based solutions to homelessness.
If you can’t attend but would still like to help, please consider making a gift to help us meet our goal.

Community is Resilience.
Hosted by The Center in Hollywood and SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition, we invite you to gather with community leaders, volunteers, philanthropists, and neighbors to celebrate resilience through service. This special event raises critical funding to sustain SELAH’s Sunday programs while honoring some of the incredible volunteers who have helped build one of Los Angeles’s strongest community responses to homelessness.
Hear from these SELAH volunteers as they share their experiences, the challenges they’ve faced, the successes they have celebrated, and the impact neighbors can have when we work together.
Join us by adding your financial strength to our work today, and by volunteering to add your physical strength to it each weekend. Thank you!
