Did you know that oysters are amazing creatures that can filter water, create habitat, and protect shorelines from erosion?  

Unfortunately, native Olympia oysters have been nearly wiped out of San Francisco Bay due to overharvesting, pollution, and habitat loss.  

But you can help bring them back! 

We want you to love oysters as much as we do! In fact, you can become an Ostreophile (aka an oyster lover) and you don’t have to love eating them.
