LAURA HINDS is the founder and Principal Partner of Hindsight Consulting Group, LLC. Hindsight serves non-profit organizations at both the local and national level in providing client-centered services to deserving but often marginalized clients via Trauma Informed Initiatives and DEIB efforts. Laura is a national speaker and trauma expert who also serves as an expert witness in criminal and civil cases. Laura’s work also includes a small psychotherapy practice, consultation services, and executive coaching.

Laura is an alumna and has served as a part-time lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice for the last 18 years, and at Bryn Mawr’s School of Social Work and Social Research’s Center for Professional Development for the past 10 years, where she curates and instructs many events, including a Post-Graduate Trauma Certificate and a Perinatal Grief Series. Laura is Board Chair Emeritus of the Commonwealth’s State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors, after 9 years of dedicated service, 3.5 of which she served as Chairperson. She currently serves the Board as an expert witness in regulatory and ethical matters.
