No Strings Attached: is an interactive equine assisted program for girls at Wings of Hope Ranch is beginning in January 2026.
We are inviting a special group of girls between the ages of 12-15 to participate in this unique small group which will explore 9 different lessons relating to our relationship with God, horses and other people.
This course was inspired by the scripture in Job chapter 12 verses 7-10 which suggests (in part) that the animals can teach us, if we allow them to. Also, most importantly the animals (horses in this case) can point us back to our awesome Creator, God!
Each session will be experiential in that it will include a Bible concept that will be shared in a classroom setting and then the group will participate in an activity with a horse (or two) in the arena. This program focuses on horse activities that are on the ground (instead of in the saddle) where the horses are ‘at liberty” to respond to us relationally. This mirrors our relationship with the Lord in that His gifts to us also have “no strings attached”. It is going to be a unique and special time of growth and learning for each participant.
A good candidate for this program would be a girl that may need a reminder that she is a daughter of the King, uniquely made for a purpose and time such as this. Each session will be 90 minutes in length and will meet weekly for 9 weeks on Wednesday evenings from Jan 7 to March 4 from 5:45-7:15 pm. The session will include at home reading and study time.
