Family Volunteer Event: Diaper & Wipe Drive

About This Event

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) invites individuals and families with children of all ages to participate in our Diaper & Wipe Drive Family Volunteer Event on Friday, March 20, 2026. Many children have that day off from school in honor of Eid al-Fitr. If your family is observing the holiday, we wish you a joyful celebration!

Please join us in collecting much-needed diapers and wipes for families served by WJCS. During the event we will package the supplies, and children who attend will create spring themed mobiles and greeting cards for the recipients of the packages. This fun bonding opportunity helps children learn the values of volunteerism and helping others!

Packages created at the Family Volunteer Event will benefit participants in our Early Childhood Programs and our Young People Achieve (YPA) program, which helps pregnant and parenting teens stay in school and prepare for a career. Families in Westchester are struggling to make ends meet. Our clients with young children are finding it difficult to buy diapers, wipes, and other essentials for their little ones. Please help us make their lives easier.

The registration fee for the event is $20 per child; adults are free. Pre-registration is required. Your donation includes 1 package of diapers and 2 packages of wipes. Please consider also making an additional donation to the drive by purchasing items from our Amazon Wishlist to be sent to us ahead of the event.

Space is limited. Pizza and refreshments will be served!
