About This Event
2026 Wall of Fame Celebration
Thursday, October 1, 2026, 5:30PM - 9:30PM
Wintergarden at PPG Place
Join us for the Wall of Fame Celebration, an evening of recognition, inspiration, and pure joy for 250 guests and our alumni honorees in the stunning Wintergarden. Celebrate with the people shaping our community’s future: meet this year’s Wall of Fame honorees and our partner awardees, forge connections, and feel what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself.
Previous attendees left feeling “joyous,” “energized,” and “hopeful.” They made new friends, marveled at the “incredible fashion,” and experienced an “inspirational presentation” that held our packed room in complete silence. That electricity is back, and this year’s vibes will take you higher!
Your Wall of Fame ticket, donation, or sponsorship, at any level, supports the Trade Institute of Pittsburgh’s education programs, job development initiatives, alumni network, and community engagement efforts. Thank you!
The 2025 Wall of Fame was an evening to remember!
The Trade Institute of Pittsburgh is a tuition-free trade school for people with barriers to employment. People come to us to stabilize their lives, gain career and life skills, and transform their future. We believe that if our students thrive, so will our communities. The goal is to meet each student where they are and get them the holistic support they need to overcome their barriers through therapy, career counseling, life skills courses, and driver’s education. Students learn core masonry and carpentry skills and work with our job developers to graduate with a career in the trades or related fields. TIP continues to engage montlhy with alumni for a year after graduation - a strategy employers cite as an excellent benefit of hiring our graduates.
TIP is located in the Homewood community of Pittsburgh. Founded in 2013, the Trade Institute has engaged and empowered over 1000 men and women throughout Allegheny County to meet a growing need for skilled tradespeople. TIP graduated and helped employ over 110 students in 2025.
