Making Wild Connections
Women of the Land is a program designed to empower women to become active land managers. It emphasizes skill-based outdoor recreation, learning by doing, and forging relationships with both conservation professionals and peers.
In this "From the Ground Up" course, we'll focus on making wild connections by explore the fundamentals of ecology and land stewardship. Participants will learn the importance of pollinators, watersted stewardship, the importance of native plants, and how they can getinvolved with local conservation organizations. This event is open to ladies who are landowners as well as non-landowners. Urban, suburban, and rural residents.
You do not have to be a Texas Wildlife Association member to register for this event, however you will receive a discount on registration if you have a current associate membership or higher!
Registration cost includes a catered lunch.
