Music in the Gallery: RamaLisa

About This Event

RamaLisa: Hurdy-Gurdy and Violin

Noelle Beaudin and Shelby Trevor in Concert

Step into the world of myth and imagination for an evening of original music that feels ancient and alive all at once.

Noelle Beaudin, Hurdy-gurdy and Shelby Trevor, Violin are RamaLisa -- a violin and hurdy-gurdy collaboration inspired by folklore, myth, and the timeless journey of the hero.

Drawing from ancient stories and legendary archetypes, our music weaves together driving rhythms, shimmering drones, and lyrical melodies that feel both old and newly awakened. Each piece is rooted in mythic imagination — wild forests, trials of courage, transformation, and wonder.

This is music for story-lovers, dreamers, and seekers of the magical and mysterious.

Noelle Beaudin is a professional hurdy-gurdy player, pianist, organist, and composer who brings a distinctly contemporary voice to this centuries-old instrument, carrying it into the 21st century with innovation and deep musicality. Shelby Trevor is a violinist whose playing bridges the lyrical and the visceral, at home in the sweeping emotional landscape that RamaLisa inhabits.

Doors open at 6:30 pm. Concert begins at 7:00 pm. Seating is limited. We recommend arriving early.
