Play Outside Day!

Celebrate the joy of spending time outdoors during "Play Outside Day" at Cedar Run! This free, self-guided event invites families to explore the Refuge at their own pace. Wander the trails, visit our resident Wildlife Ambassadors, discover nature through hands-on activities you can pick up at the Nature Center, and enjoy a day of fresh air, curiosity, and outdoor play. Come reconnect with nature and make memories together! 10:30am start, but stay as long as you'd like! Suitable for all ages.

This is a free program included with daily admission or membership, but donations to support our work are always welcome!  Advanced registration required. This event will take place outside so please dress for the weather.

What is Play Outside Day?

On the first Saturday of the month, everybody in the nation plays outside. 

This includes kids, parents, adults, families and grandparents.
