About This Event
Join us in New Castle for the Wildlands and Waterways Film Festival, an evening of short films celebrating rivers, forests, and the people working to understand and protect the natural world. This curated program features Kentucky filmmakers alongside inspiring conservation stories from beyond our region.
This screening is co-hosted by the The Berry Center, whose work champions land stewardship, healthy land, and vibrant rural communities. Together with Woods & Waters Land Trust, the Berry Center is bringing this collection of films to Henry County as part of a three-community festival also shown in Frankfort and Carrollton.
During a brief intermission, we’ll host a short conversation inspired by one of the films featuring a guest involved in its creation, along with a few fun giveaways donated by community sponsors.
Join us at The Berry Center on Thursday, March 19 for a film program that explores the connections between people, land, and water—both close to home and in wild places beyond our region.
Students and children are free to attend, but registration is required to reserve a seat.
Doors open at 6pm. Films begin at 6:30pm.
