This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting you into the engine room of transformation.

At MakerspaceCT, curiosity gets a passport, imagination earns a toolkit, and the impossible becomes—well—possible.

With your support, you’re not just helping students learn CAD, CNC, robotics, VR, or 3D printing. You’re fueling the spark that turns “I wonder if I could…” into “Holy wow, I did.”

These aren’t just classes—they’re portals, pathways, and permission slips to the future. Please give generously and help us keep this life-changing, hands-on learning accessible to the young innovators who need it most.

Giving Tuesday: A Call to Radical Generosity

“Around here, we don’t just talk about changing lives—we teach it, solder it, 3D-print it, laser-cut it, and send students home with a project they built themselves.”

GivingTuesday is a worldwide movement dedicated to unleashing the power of radical generosity. It reminds us that every act of kindness, every gesture of support, and every contribution—big or small—helps build a world grounded in shared humanity.

Whether it’s helping a neighbor, showing up for a cause you believe in, or empowering young makers and future engineers here in Hartford, everyone has something to give. And every act of generosity counts.

ABOUT MAKERSPACECT

The mission of MakerspaceCT is to positively impact lives by enabling access, innovation, and education. Our vision uses 'making' as a vehicle to lift up individuals and communities at the 28,000 square foot innovation lab in Downtown Hartford, Connecticut.

A non-profit that opened in 2019, MakerspaceCT is positioned to bridge the gap between traditional skills and advanced technologies. Classes are offered in metal, wood and plastic fabrication, facilitating education in prototype and manufacturing techniques.

Students and members can also explore high-tech specialties with access to the latest electronics, Internet of Things (IoT), computer aided design (CAD), 3D printing and CNC driven machinery. MakerspaceCT has relationships with local manufacturers that are committed to interviewing graduates of our programs.
