Presented by The Workers Circle

Beginners and up with Rivke Margolis (mini-course)

Wednesday, 7:00 - 8:30 PM ET: Apr. 15, 22, 29 May 6, 13

Course Goals: Why does Yiddish sometimes feel harder than it should? This class explores some of the stickier points of Yiddish grammar, through clear explanation, examples and interactive activities. We will look at how cases work (nominative, accusative and dative), how negation is formed, how common adverbs and little words like “she” and “her” function, and how loshn koydesh (the Hebrew and Aramaic element of Yiddish) fits into everyday usage. The session is suitable for beginners and for learners who would like a clearer, more confident grasp of these features.
