Youth Basketball Registration (K-3)

Registration for our youth basketball program, for students in grades K - 3^rd grade, is currently underway! It is a 6-week program that meets on Saturday afternoons.

WE WILL BE HOSTING IT AT THE MT. NEBO FIELDHOUSE GYM. The address is 318 Nicholson Road, Sewickley, PA 15143.

• The program begins Saturday, November 7^th - December 12^th. It is a clinic-style program with skill introduction that will also include opportunities for intramural play.
• The K - 1^st session is 2:30-3:30 pm, with the 2^nd - 3^rd session to follow from 3:45-5:15 pm. There is one exception: Saturday, 11/7, will be from 9 am to 12 pm. K-1^st will be 9-10am, followed by 2^nd - 3^rd from 10:15 am to 11:45 am due to the gym being used later on that day.
• It is a very similar format to our youth soccer program if you currently participate. There will be a devotion, skill introduction, and practice time, then scrimmage time.
• THE COST IS $80 PER ATHLETE. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, 10/30.
• This program is open to Eden families AND the community, so feel free to forward to families in your church/neighborhood you may think could be interested.

Volunteer Information

• Any volunteer coach will receive a 50% discount off of the registration fee for ONE registered athlete for the Eden youth basketball program OR can qualify towards school volunteer hours.
• COACHING A TEAM CAN QUALIFY FOR SCHOOL VOLUNTEER HOURS, BUT YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE THE DISCOUNT OR VOLUNTEER HOURS.
• The discount will be applied in the form of a refund at the end of the season if at least 80% of sessions have been attended.
• Please select the box during registration if you'd like to coach while registering and which age group.
• I will put coaches with their son's/daughter's team.
• There is a program and session-by-session itinerary, so there is no planning involved, just willing people to invest in our participants during the session time.
